About

MIIMU is a forever-evolving project dedicated to creating with nature.
Built on the belief that craft carries memory, we celebrates the hands, traditions and materials that shape each piece.

Our jewellery and raffia bags are made slowly, in small batches, with artisans who honour techniques passed through generations. Every fibre, every knot, every cast holds the imprint of real human skill — the kind that can’t be rushed or replicated. By working directly with artisans in Madagascar and small makers across the world, we help keep traditional craftsmanship alive and valued.

Our Pillars

Craftsmanship
At the heart of MIIMU is a reverence for handmade work. We create with artisans who possess deep knowledge of materials — from natural raffia to stones and metals — allowing each piece to carry the warmth of the maker who shaped it.

Sustainability
We work in harmony with natural materials, producing in small, intentional quantities to avoid waste. Our raffia is harvested, dried and dyed using methods that respect the rhythms of nature. Every step is considered, from slow production to mindful packaging.

Ethical Production
We collaborate directly with artisan communities, ensuring fair work, safe environments and long-term partnerships. By choosing slow timelines and small-batch production, we honour the time and care required to craft each piece responsibly.

MIIMU is not seasonal or trend-led. It’s a living, breathing collection — one that grows organically, guided by material, culture and the stories of the hands that make it.
Pieces to be worn, kept, and passed on.
